"We had a fantastic Sundaylunch for a birthday, I had the roast beef and my wife the risotto. The roast was as good as I have had anywhere, tasty lean roast beef and all the trimmings. I almost lost count of all the veggies- carrots, parsnips, potatoes, cauliflower cheese, cabbage etc. Generous portion size and lovely gravy. Staff were all very efficient and friendly. Even our dog was welcomed by her own water bowl and treats! We have been before and will definitely go again"

"Enjoyed a delicious Sunday Menu meal with a friend yesterday. I can honestly say it was the best meal I have enjoyed anywhere for quite some time. The staff were very attentive and friendly too. It's a cosy pub with a wonderful atmosphere and I cannot praise it too highly. I explained to our waitress that as I was Lactose Intolerant the desserts on offer weren't suitable for me. She came back to say the Chef could do a Coconut Milk Rice Pudding and this was just beautiful. Thank you everyone at the Springer for a lovely Sunday afternoon experience.”
“Such an amazing Sunday lunch, and even more so for the price! Lots of options on their Sunday menu and tasted absolutely insane - great quality beef roast and sticky toffee pudding was the best! Only thing I would say is although service was brilliant, it was a little slower for us than other tables around us but there is lots of games in the snug area while you wait! Overall 5/5 experience”
